HP Designjets Take Top Honours

The HP Designjet T7100 and T2300 eMFP have taken top honours in recent BERTL and BLI awards confirming the innovative features of both printers and the benefits these have given to users.

An Exceptional Certified Five Star rating for the HP Designjet T2300 eMultifunction Printer (eMFP) from BERTL, citing its Web-enabled functionality and intuitive colour touchscreen.
An Outstanding Certified Four and a Half Star rating for the HP Designjet T7100 Printer from BERTL, noting its productivity features and ability to produce a range of applications.
A Summer 2011 “Pick” award for “Outstanding Color Inkjet Wide-Format Multipurpose Printer” for the HP Designjet T7100 Printer from BLI due to its productivity, administrative utilities and ease of use.
A Summer 2011 “Pick” award for “Outstanding Color Inkjet Wide-Format MFP” for theHP Designjet T2300 eMFP from BLI, citing its collaborative capabilities for file sharing and printing, as well as overall print and copy quality.

KIP launches 700RC dual feed, low cost MFP

KIP has announced the UK launch of the KIP 700RC multi-function print system, an ultra-compact, exceptionally low cost and versatile solution targeted squarely at ‘point of need’ applications such as design offices and site locations. Equipped with both roll and cassette feeds, the 700RC prints directly to all ‘A’ sizes, removing the need to change rolls – reducing print time and wastage.

Based on KIP’s world leading 100% toner-efficient HDP mono print engine technology, the 700RC also features a high grade built in colour scanner with the ability to print and copy directly to colour inkjets, delivering significant productivity and cost savings over all-in-one inkjet-based mono/colour solutions.

In keeping with KIP’s ‘family’ approach to product standardisation, the KIP 700RC shares the same award winning touchscreen user interface and software platform as the entire range of KIP systems, plus key-code upgrades to scan-to-file and direct copy to inkjet, providing a very low cost entry point for basic print and copy applications while providing a versatile and cost-effective route to more sophisticated facilities as required.

New Designjet T1300 and T790 ePrinters from HP

CBS Central and HP are pleased to announce the launch of the new HP Designjet T790 and T1300 ePrinters which continue the vision HP set out with the release of the Designjet T2300 eMFP at the end of last year. The new printers build on the ease of use and connectivity first seen in the Designjet T2300 eMFP but now bring this to applications that do not require an integrated scanning capability.

The Designjet T790 comes in 24 inch and 44 inch versions both are aimed at the web connected design community within the AEC and GIS sectors. Ease of use and connectivity bring benefits that reduce costs producing effective designs and enable rapid sharing of information. The 4.3inch colour touch screen gives access to all the printer functions as well as page previews, both printers support a wide range of file formats HP-GL/2, TIFF, JPEG, CALS G4, HP PCL 3 GUI as standard and with a PostScript option available for both printers. Speed enhancements enable the printing of two A1 size prints per minute in Economode.
The Designjet T1300 incorporates all the features of the T790 but adds the dual roll media handling as standard and comes only in 44 inch printing widths. It shares all the web-connection functionality and the PostScript upgrades options as per the Designjet T790. The new Designjets move true collaborative printing closer to reality and lead the way in ease of use and functionality.

HP ePrint & Share is available for all HP Designjet customers and will be accessible from the touchscreen of the HP Designjet T1300 and Designjet T790.
